The technicians are trained in operating instruments like electroencephalographs, in order to measure the electrical activity of the brain waves of the patient. The technicians use the devices to conduct EEG tests which can help in determining any brain abnormality or damage. The EEG Tech will gather the patient's medical history, explain the testing procedures to the patient, and also prepare the patient for the test.
