The CL Techs assist physicians during cardiovascular procedures like angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology. Before the surgery they are responsible for checking and verifying that the EKG is working properly. They will also analyze the readouts and inform the doctor of any abnormalities. During the some surgical procedures, they are responsible for preparing the patients for the surgery.
