American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong orthopedic and general surgery experience, including independence in total joint procedures, for a 13-week contract.

Details

• Surgical Services department performing general surgery and orthopedic cases
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (0730-1530)
• No on-call requirement, though staying late to finish cases may be necessary
• 13-week contract with the option to extend
• May float to different units as needed

Requirements

• NBSTSA certification required; NCCT certification not accepted
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Must be independent in total joint procedures with strong orthopedic surgery experience
• Competent in all general surgery and orthopedic cases
• Proficient (rated at least a 3) in endoscopy, colonoscopy, lap appendectomy, lap cholecystectomy, lap and open hernia repairs, lap and open bowel resections, total knee, total shoulder, arthroscopy, and fracture cases
• Experience in SPD is a plus
• One reference required for consideration
