American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital OR, requiring 2 years of experience and BLS and WA state licensure.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 325 staffed beds
• Surgical Services/OR department covering orthopedics, general, neuro, thoracic, vascular, GYN, urology, robotics, and ENT cases
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 6:45am to 5:15pm
• Weekend shifts required as part of the regular schedule
• On-call requirement of up to 5 shifts per month, including possible weekend call
• Robotics experience with daVinci and Mako systems preferred
• Epic EMR used, experience preferred
• May be required to float between sister facilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• WA state license required if applicable
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, vascular, GYN, urology, ENT, and thoracic procedures preferred
• Skilled in aseptic technique and instrument processing

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Travel experience is not required
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they do not live within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates may only be submitted to one Providence facility at a time
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required, which may include Charge RNs or Leads
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff, including location and dates if applicable
