American Traveler seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a General/Vascular OR position requiring broad experience in ortho, neuro, and vascular procedures.

Details

• Works in a General/Vascular Operating Room setting
• Schedule of 36-40 hours per week using three 12-hr, four 10-hr, or five 8-hr shifts with negotiable start and end times
• Approximately every 5th weekend is a call weekend, split between Call 1 and Call 2
• 1-2 on-call shifts required per week, split between Call 1 and Call 2, with a 30-minute response time from call to arrival on site
• Call volume may increase based on department needs and staffing changes
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• CST certification preferred but not required
• License required if applicable
• Wide breadth of current experience across ortho, neuro, and vascular procedures required
• Excellent critical thinking skills and strong knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required

Additional Information

• Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the contract period, subject to variability based on patient census and staffing
