American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with multi-specialty OR experience for an acute care hospital position at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Acute care hospital with 130 staffed beds and Level II Trauma designation
• Rotates across multiple specialties including ortho, neuro, general, ENT, urology, OB/GYN, and trauma
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Requires working every other weekend
• On-call not required but may be offered
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Epic charting system used, experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• At least 1 year of travel experience required
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification required
• CST certification required
• Level II Trauma experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Support surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties including gynecology, plastics, neurosurgery, trauma, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ENT, and thoracic cases
• Exposure to robotic-assisted surgeries including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Maintain aseptic technique, isolation precautions, and PPE standards throughout procedures
• Adhere to laser, radiation, and sharps safety protocols
• Perform specimen handling and labeling per protocol
• Participate in Universal Protocol time-out procedures
• Any color scrubs accepted, except L&D where scrub color is not specified
• Free parking available in any unrestricted lot space
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Accepts local candidates at local rate within a 50-mile radius
