American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 5+ years of ortho, joint replacement, and sports medicine experience for a 13-week hospital assignment.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting handling ortho, joint replacement, and sports medicine cases
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call requirements include 1 call shift each week and 1 call weekend every 6-8 weeks
• No floating outside of scope required
• No accommodation for block scheduling

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience required, candidates with less will be reviewed
• Total joint, ortho, and neuro spine experience required
• Experience with Stryker and Mako equipment required
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Pending state license not accepted
• Recent EPIC EMR experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• No local candidates accepted; 75-mile radius rule applies
• All RTO must be submitted with initial application; requests made afterward will not be considered
• No RTO approved around holidays
• Pass/fail testing required during orientation, including Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test for all units and Moderate Sedation Test for OR, ICU, and Endo staff
• Facility maintains an attendance policy; missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
