American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technician for a CVOR position requiring cardiac and open-heart case proficiency and prior robotic surgery experience.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR unit performing cardiac, open-heart, and AAA cases
• Schedule includes day, evening, and night shifts with call and weekend requirements
• Cardiac call team schedule includes shifts of 0700-1530 or 1000-1830 with call until 0700 the next day
• Typically one weekday on-call shift and one 24-hour weekend on-call shift (Saturday and Sunday) per month
• Must be willing to float to other competent areas within scope of practice

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in CVOR
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency in cardiac and open-heart surgical cases required
• AAA case experience required
• Da Vinci robot experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Support cardiac and open-heart surgical procedures as part of a specialized CVOR team
• Participate in a structured on-call rotation supporting cardiac surgery coverage
• First-time travelers may be considered
