American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an Operating Room position, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room unit
• Patient population includes GYN, general, urology, ENT, ortho, neuro spine, podiatry, vascular, and robotics cases
• Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with 0700, 0930, and 1000 start times
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous CST experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• State license required (if applicable)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Not have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Work history/resume required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required for consideration
• License verification required for consideration
• Copy of required certifications required for consideration
• One supervisory reference within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Local candidates accepted with a 10% rate reduction
• Candidates outside a 50-mile radius from the facility qualify for standard travel rate
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited to 1 day off request during the periods of 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2, regardless of holidays worked
