American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and at least 2 years of experience for a Level 2 trauma acute care facility.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with Level 2 trauma designation
• MRI department with 1 procedure room
• Performs MRI scans for both adult and pediatric patients
• Utilizes Philips Ingenia 1.5T scanner, Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector, Omnicell, and FUJI PACS
• EPIC EMR system used for charting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule, either M-F 10p-6a or Sun-Wed 10p-8am
• May work independently at times without direct supervision
• No floating to other units required

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to independently apply appropriate MRI scanning techniques for diagnostic purposes
• Responsible for screening patients and objects for magnet safety

Additional Information

• Performs MRI procedures according to radiologist-established protocols with a high degree of independent judgment
• Responsible for designated area and all procedures performed within it
• Black scrubs required as part of dress code
• COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical or religious exemption forms available for review
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration
• Former WVU Medicine employees must have a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers are limited to a cumulative 1 year within the WVU system before requiring a 2-year break
