American Traveler seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position requiring 5 years of CST experience across multiple surgical specialties.

• Work in the OR department of a 298-bed teaching hospital
• 8-bed unit size
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (36 hours guaranteed)
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• On-call requirements by rotation
• Must be able to take call; candidates unwilling to take call will not be considered

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of current CST experience required
• Experience required in General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (including total joints), Neuro/Head/Spine, and Trauma procedures
• C-Section, ENT, Plastics, and DaVinci Robot experience preferred
• Must be able to precept
• NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Must have own vehicle
• 2 recent supervisory signed references required (within the past two years of employment)
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Facility-provided scrubs required
• Must work two designated holiday blocks if scheduled, including Thanksgiving and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• Shift accommodation requests will not be considered for this position
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application, as requests made after an offer may not be approved

• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off allowed
