American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a 900-bed facility, requiring at least 18 months of experience and the ability to work independently in a busy Radiology department.

Details

• Radiology department in a large 900-bed facility
• AM shift, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 5 days per week, 37.5 hours weekly
• Schedule includes every other weekend and on-call responsibilities
• Uses GE imaging equipment
• Must be comfortable working in the OR setting
• EPIC charting system used
• Potential to float to a sister hospital nearby

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months to 3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• NJ State RT License required if applicable
• Must be able to work independently in a high-volume setting
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with current trends in clinical practice and healthcare informatics
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Additional Information

• Perform imaging and treatment procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures, recommending revisions as needed
• Local candidates accepted at a different pay rate
• Travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date before requiring a break
