American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist with required NATUS EEG equipment experience for a day shift role in the Cardiology/Neurology Lab.

Details

• EEG Tech unit within the Cardiology/Neurology Lab
• Performs EEG and evoked potential (EP) testing to measure brain impulse frequencies and electrical potential differences for diagnostic purposes
• Also performs electrocardiograms and other diagnostic testing
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call required every other weekend from 7 AM to 1 PM and 3 weekday evenings per week from end of shift to 8 PM
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Uses Cerner charting system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience preferred
• NATUS EEG equipment experience required
• Certified EEG Technologist (ABRET), BLS, and CPI required
• License required if applicable
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Experience with adult ICU, adult inpatient, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Skilled in ambulatory EEG, electrode placement, long term/video monitoring, portable recording, seizure studies, and sleep EEG
• Travel experience required
