Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical First Assistant with CSFA certification and 3+ years of experience for a hospital surgical services position supporting multiple specialties.

Details

• 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Supports general, orthopedic, plastic, podiatry, and urology surgical cases
• Uses Epic charting system
• Weekday call required once per week (5:15 PM–6:45 AM)
• Weekend call required every 6th weekend (Friday 5:15 PM through Monday 6:45 AM)

Requirements

• CSFA certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Certified Surgical First Assistant
• Experience suturing and closing incision sites highly preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must pass EKG competency test
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

• Assist surgeons across multiple specialties including general, orthopedic, plastic, podiatry, and urology procedures
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility
