Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 26-week teaching hospital assignment.

Details

• Radiology department within a 298-bed teaching hospital offering a full continuum of medical specialties
• 26-week assignment with day shift schedule
• Two 16-hour shifts per week, Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Always paired with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech, never working solo
• Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• Possible on-call requirements, with after-midnight coverage handled by on-call staff

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Must have own vehicle
• License required if applicable
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must be willing to work two required holiday blocks: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• RTO requests must be submitted prior to consideration, with no more than 5 days accepted and none approved after offer
• Includes 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
