American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a Maternal Fetal Medicine unit, requiring ARDMS OB/GYN certification and 2+ years of large teaching hospital experience.

Details

• Maternal Fetal Medicine unit within a large Level 1 trauma facility (579 beds) with 2 campus sites
• Patient population includes OB/GYN, midwifery, REI, and MFM cases; GYN-only scanning also accepted if MFM experience is limited
• Sees up to 8 patients per day (4 AM/4 PM); twin pregnancy scans count as two patients
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekend coverage on an as-needed basis
• No block schedules permitted
• EPIC EMR used

Requirements

• ARDMS registration with OB/GYN credential
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Large, teaching hospital experience required
• Experience with fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA dopplers, 1st trimester scans, pelvic exams, sonohystogram, and HyCoSy
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
