American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for Maternal Fetal Medicine, requiring ARDMS OB/GYN certification and prior travel experience at a large teaching hospital.

Details

• Work within the Maternal Fetal Medicine department of a large Level 1 trauma facility with 579 beds across two campus sites
• Patient population includes OB/GYN, midwifery, REI, and MFM cases with no breast imaging required
• See up to 8 patients per day (4 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon), with twin pregnancy scans counted as two patients
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Sunday, with weekend coverage on an as-needed basis
• No block scheduling available
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• ARDMS registration with OB/GYN credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Large, teaching hospital experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Experience in fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, umbilical and MCA dopplers, 1st trimester scans, pelvic scans, sonohystogram, and HyCoSy required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended due to limited public transportation in the area
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during winter months (November–April)
• Candidates should be prepared to explain any employment gaps over 90 days
