American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification along with ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Level I Trauma and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma teaching hospital with Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center designations
• MRI department averaging 40-45 patients per day
• Serves adult and pediatric patients from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settings across the full spectrum of radiology exams
• Uses Siemens 1.5T magnets and EPIC EMR
• 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No rotation between weekdays and weekends; travelers remain on the same shift throughout the contract
• No floating required
• Call requirement shared in fair rotation among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff

Requirements

• ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification required
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Strong clinical skill set with ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
