American Traveler seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist with Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center experience for a night shift position in a hospital operating room.

• Surgical Services/OR Tech unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 18:45-07:15
• Weekday schedule varies weekly based on staffing needs
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• No on-call requirements
• General OR and Trauma work settings

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of overall OR experience required
• Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS certification required
• DORA certification required (license required if applicable)
• At least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Experience in General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics surgical specialties required
• Proficiency across a broad range of procedures including gynecologic, plastics, neuro, trauma, general, urologic, and ENT surgeries

Additional Information

• Support surgical teams across a wide variety of specialties including gynecology, plastics, neurosurgery, trauma, general surgery, urology, and ENT
• Complete all facility-specific training modules within the first week of the assignment
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates previously employed by the facility or its affiliates must disclose this information
• Candidates who completed a prior full-year assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before returning
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods where RTO is not permitted
• No blocked scheduling requests allowed
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered for the local bill rate
