American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Technologist for a cardiac cath lab in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring 12+ months of EP experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit within a Level I Trauma teaching hospital
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, starting at 0630 with a rotating day off
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Float required across all Des Moines campuses to like units
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of Electrophysiology (EP) experience required, 24 months preferred
• Stim experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• ARRT certification required
• RCIS or RCES license accepted if applicable
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
• Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP or Cardiac Cath/CCL required

Additional Information

• Perform electrophysiology procedures and studies as part of the cardiac cath lab team
• Located in a facility recognized for advanced cardiology and vascular care
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Contractors required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed
• Limited time-off requests permitted during winter holiday periods
• Past UnityPoint Health employees may be subject to employment separation restrictions
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
