American Traveler is hiring a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for a night shift sleep lab position requiring RPSGT certification and 2+ years of sleep tech experience.

Details

• Work in a 4-bed sleep lab within the Respiratory Care & Sleep Center
• Acute care setting at a Level 3 trauma facility
• Perform sleep studies on patients aged 5 and up
• Uses EPIC EMR and Natus Sleepworks equipment
• 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts needed but not on a rotational basis
• No call requirements
• No floating to other units/departments

Requirements

• Current RPSGT certification via BRPT
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Minimum 2 years of sleep tech experience required
• Must be comfortable working alone during shifts
• Must be able to perform studies on patients aged 5 and up
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Must be comfortable working independently without direct supervision
• Unit-specific orientation consists of 3 nights, potentially fewer if not needed
• Gray scrubs required for dress code
• Candidates must be willing to obtain MN Net Study 2 weeks prior to start
• Accepts local candidates within 80 miles of the facility at a reduced rate
