American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer with 2+ years of OB/GYN experience and ARDMS OB/GYN and NT certifications required.

Details

• Work across 6 ultrasound rooms at one hospital and 2 rooms at a second hospital location
• High Risk Pregnancy Clinic supporting Maternal Fetal Medicine specialty
• Perform 7-9 detailed ultrasounds daily and report findings to 3 MFM physicians
• Patient population includes high-risk maternal and fetal conditions
• Assist with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS procedures
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• 5x8 day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No nights, weekends, or major holidays required
• May float within scope to meet facility needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, and NT certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• OB/GYN and outpatient experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency with fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screening, and amniotic fluid index
• Experience with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging and multiple pregnancy scans
• Skilled in transvaginal, renal/pelvis, ovaries, and uterine imaging
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• Perform detailed fetal and maternal ultrasound imaging including anatomical surveys, Doppler studies, and multi-organ assessments
• Support high-risk obstetric patients in collaboration with MFM physicians
• Scrubs of any color permitted, no prints allowed
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Returning former employees may be considered after a 3-month waiting period
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility
• RTO requests should be discussed with the hiring manager and submitted upfront
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
