American Traveler is hiring a night-shift Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of acute care hospital experience and ARDMS registration.

Details

• General ultrasound department within an acute care hospital setting
• Performs a full range of ultrasound procedures and produces diagnostic images
• 4x10 night shift schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call required based on census needs

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• ARDMS Registered Medical Sonographer certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital setting
• CA state license required if applicable
• 2 professional references obtained within the past year

Additional Information

• Processes films, prepares service records, adjusts equipment, and reports malfunctioning equipment
• Transports patients to and from the department
• Maintains scheduled and unscheduled patient exams efficiently
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning employees must have a minimum 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday approved per contract
• Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
