American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an OR Float position in a high-capacity operating room, requiring CST certification and flexibility for a day/evening rotation with occasional nights.

Details

• OR Float unit within a high-capacity operating room setting
• 13-week contract with 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule
• Evening shifts run 1p-11p; day shifts run 7a-5:30p M,T,Th,F and 9a-7:30p on Wednesdays
• Includes 2 weeks of night shifts during the contract
• Requires at least 2 short call shifts every 4-week schedule along with weekend coverage
• Weekend shifts scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts scheduled during the same week to meet contracted hours
• Uses Epic for charting
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

• CST certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required
• Experience in a high-capacity operating room required
• Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending licenses accepted
• License required if applicable
• AHA-issued certifications only
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Facilities located in NH require NH or Compact RN license, along with NH Criminal Background and BEAS record checks
• Respirator FIT test required for NH-based facilities, preferably completed prior to start

Additional Information

• Limited RTO during the winter holiday season
• Local candidates accepted; must reside within 60 miles of the facility for local rate eligibility
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
