American Traveler is hiring a Days MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 26-week assignment at a teaching hospital.

Details

• Radiology department in a 298-bed teaching hospital offering a full continuum of medical specialties
• Monday-Friday day shift, either 6:30 AM-3:00 PM or 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Works alongside another tech aide or MRI tech, never solo
• Overnight coverage after midnight handled by on-call staff
• No regular weekend requirement, but holiday coverage and occasional weekend/evening work may be needed
• Possible on-call requirement
• Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and take call as needed
• Must have own vehicle
• License required if applicable
• Skills checklist for MRI (current within 1 year) required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

Additional Information

• 8 hours of non-billable orientation provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Requested time off must be submitted at time of application and cannot exceed 5 days
• Scheduling requests must be finalized prior to submission, as changes after offer may result in a rescinded offer
