American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience and RT or RCIS certification for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monday-Friday day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM), 40 hours per week
• Provides shared on-call coverage for a 24/7 cath lab, including 10-11 call shifts per month with rotating weekends
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
• RT or RCIS certification required
• ACLS and CPR-AHA certification required
• MIRT license required, along with NH license (license required if applicable)
• Epic and specific cath lab experience required

Additional Information

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment during procedures
• Performs scrub tech duties to assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons
• Performs hemodynamic monitoring and documents procedures during cases
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• Requires COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, with medical exemptions allowed
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis for hard-to-fill positions
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any facility within this health system
