Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital OR, requiring NBSTSA certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with 228 staffed beds
• Surgical Services department covering 5 operating rooms
• Required case types include General, Ortho, Endo/Lap, GYN, and Robotics
• Preferred case experience in Spine/Joint, Urology, Vascular, Neuro, Thoracic, Bari, and ENT
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:30 AM-7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Weekend call required, 3 shifts per month (7a-3p, 3p-11p, or 11p-7a)
• On-call required, 2 weeknights per month (11p-7a)
• No floating within scope or to sister facilities required
• Uses SIS charting system

Requirements

• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Valid state license required at time of consideration (if applicable)
• Two supervisor references required for consideration
