Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a pediatric cardiac cath lab, requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT-R certification with fluoroscopy permit.

Details

• Pediatric cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab setting at a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required as needed, approximately 1-2 shifts per week and 1-2 weekends per month
• Must be available to work weekends with full flexibility as scheduled
• May be required to float within the hospital within scope of practice
• Epic and Sensis charting systems used, Epic experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required, pediatric experience preferred but not required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required
• ARRT-R and ARRT Advanced certification required
• Fluoroscopy permit required if applicable
• California license required in hand, or a confirmed ETA for licensure required for consideration
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Skills may include EKG lead placement, scrubbing/maintaining sterile field, room circulating, and accurate monitoring
• Experience with cardiac cath lab, EP, and interventional radiology procedures preferred

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Maximum RTO of 6 days must be confirmed upfront
• Required to work 2 out of 3 holidays
• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel
• Blue scrub color required
