American Traveler seeks a vascular-trained Certified Surgical Technologist for a CVOR travel position in an open heart unit.

Details

• Open Heart unit with 2 heart rooms and a possible 3rd
• Staffed with 4 RNs and 3 CSTs
• Day shift coverage includes 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST, with no night shift and on-call coverage only overnight
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses Meditech / CPN EMR
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirements include 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
• Typical procedures include CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience
• BLS certification required
• NBSTA certification required
• Must be vascular trained
• Active KS license required if applicable
• ACLS certification preferred
• Open Heart and Cardiovascular experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
