American Traveler seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist for a CVOR unit position, requiring NBSTSA certification and comfort scrubbing open heart, ortho, neuro, and general surgery cases.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room unit with a focus on Open Heart/CVOR cases
• Must be comfortable scrubbing a variety of cases including ortho, neuro, and general surgery
• May be required to float as needed
• 10-hour day shifts with rotating weekend and holiday coverage
• Shift start times vary between 7am, 9:30am, 11am, and 1pm based on need

Requirements

• Associate's Degree from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Minimum of 2 years of formal in-hospital experience required
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Open Heart OR Surgical Tech role with CVOR experience preferred
• 16 hours of unbillable orientation held on Mondays
• Accepts candidates with or without previous travel experience
• Will accept COVID medical or religious exemption
• Accepts local candidates within a 75-mile radius rule
• Time off requests must be minimized during the assignment and approved prior to confirmation
• Holiday time off limited to 1 of the 3 major holidays at facility discretion
