American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift EEG Technologist with 3+ years of experience for a pediatric hospital setting requiring floating across units.

Details

• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30
• EEG Tech unit within a pediatric hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Floating to different units required for most positions
• First week of orientation begins on a Monday, with the first two weeks having a schedule that may differ from the regular shift

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience required
• BLS certification required
• ABRET certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II settings preferred
• Experience with ambulatory EEG, EMG assistance, evoked potentials (auditory, motor, somatosensory, visual), long term/video monitoring, and portable recording preferred
• Experience with electrode placement, sleep EEG, and sleep deprived EEG
• Ability to check, operate, and calibrate electromyographic equipment per standard procedure
• 2 professional references required, at least one from a supervisor or manager

Additional Information

• Work in adult and pediatric care areas including ICU, inpatient, outpatient, Emergency Department, Level 1 Trauma, NICU, and PICU settings
• Candidates must not have worked in a permanent position at this facility within the last 2 years
• Local candidates not accepted within a 60 mile radius
