American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma Center offering evening shifts and requiring Siemens equipment experience.

Details

• Level I Trauma Center, short term acute care hospital setting with 1,567 staffed beds
• CT Tech unit supporting adult acute care and outpatient patients
• Evening shift, 4x10 hours, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM
• Alternating weekly schedule: Week 1 Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat, Week 2 Sun/Wed/Thu/Fri
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to sister facilities required
• Uses Siemens CT equipment
• Epic charting system required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required (1.5 years may be considered with Level I trauma or travel experience)
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification preferred
• CT license required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Experience with abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal CT scans
• Experience with and without contrast studies
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use
• 1 professional reference required

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal regions with and without contrast
• Work within a Level I Trauma Center, Academic Medical Center environment
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
• Teal scrub color required
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions only
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted unless within local rate agreement; radius rule of 75 miles applies
• Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 2 years before returning as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
