American Traveler is hiring a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for a night shift acute care sleep study assignment requiring 2+ years experience.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Sleep Technician unit
• Sleep Study unit type
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Uses computerized charting system other than standard EMRs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience required
• BLS Certification required
• CPSGT or RPSGT (via BRPT) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Completion of a sleep technology program from a state licensed and/or nationally accredited facility, OR minimum 6 months experience as a sleep trainee with documented competencies, OR CPSGT/RPSGT/RRT-CCSH credential

Additional Information

• Performs comprehensive sleep testing, analysis, and associated interventions under general supervision of a sleep technologist and/or medical director or designee
• May provide supervision of a sleep trainee
