American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a community hospital setting, requiring ARRT-CT, ARRT-R certification and 1+ years of experience.

Details

• Community hospital CT department, serving as Lead CT Tech
• Adult acute care, ICU, and Emergency Department patient population, with pediatric acute care experience preferred
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment along with PACS system
• McKesson charting system experience required
• Performs abdomen and pelvis imaging with and without contrast
• Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital and within their scope of practice

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist required
• ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, and BLS certifications required
• Maryland or Compact license required if applicable
• Community hospital experience required
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts required
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging with and without contrast required
• Experience with coronary CTA, vascular chest CTA, and cardiac imaging (calcium scoring, coronary angiography) preferred
• Experience with head and neck imaging (carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head) preferred
• Experience with special procedures including biopsies, aspirations, drainage, brain perfusion, and myelography preferred

• Serves as Lead CT Tech within the department
