American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with robot and spine experience for a hospital surgical services position on day shift.

Details

• Hospital-based general OR setting within Surgical Services
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call required with no weekend shifts
• May be required to float to like units within scope as needed, with brief orientation provided
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA national certification required (NCCT not accepted)
• Robot and spine surgery experience required
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

• Support surgical procedures across multiple specialties including orthopedic, general surgery, neuro, robotics, urology, and more
• Maintain aseptic technique, sterile processing, and proper instrument handling throughout procedures
• Assist with equipment setup including electrosurgical units, drills, and fiber optic light sources
• Participate in Universal Protocol time-out procedures and specimen handling
• Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and infection control practices are followed
• Must live outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
• Former employees must have separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be submitted at time of application
