American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with 1+ year experience for an outpatient cancer center offering radiation therapy and CyberKnife radiosurgery.

Details

• Freestanding outpatient cancer treatment center providing cancer rehabilitation and radiation therapy services
• Utilizes CyberKnife radiosurgery system
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 15:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment (license required if applicable)
• Ability to accurately position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters
• Experience maintaining and adjusting linear accelerator equipment

Additional Information

• Deliver patient treatment plans in collaboration with physician and dosimetrist
• Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage area
• Accepts local candidates, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
