American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a peripheral and neuro IR unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring ARRT R certification and neuro IR experience.

Details

• Peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Varied 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
• On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
• 13 to 26 week contract options available
• Epic EMR preferred

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (VI) preferred
• BLS certification required
• SC Radiography State License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• 1 year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
• Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Experience with NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred
• Proficiency operating PACS equipment

Additional Information

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in a peripheral and neuro-focused IR unit
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and demonstrated competencies
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training required
• First-time travelers will be considered
