American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with ARDMS certification and Epic EMR experience for a 13-week evening shift assignment.

Details

• Radiology/Cardiology Ultrasound department performing general sonography procedures
• Patient population includes adults, obstetrics, and pediatrics
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• Performs OB/GYN, fetal, pediatric, general, vascular, and small parts ultrasound studies
• Utilizes GE ultrasound equipment

Requirements

• ARDMS certification required; ARDMS AB and ARDMS OB/GYN preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• Skills in OB/GYN imaging including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester studies preferred
• Experience with vascular studies including Doppler, duplex, and carotid imaging
• Experience with pediatric abdomen, renal, and soft tissue imaging preferred
• Proficiency with cyst aspiration and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration preferred

• Performs routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity independently
• Delivers accurate diagnostic results while exercising sound clinical judgment
• Builds rapport with patients and families through effective communication and competent assessment
• May orient other staff and perform specific specialized procedures
• Adheres to all applicable regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Accepts local candidates at the local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday allowed per contract
• Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• First-time travelers not specified as accepted or excluded
