American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist with prior travel experience and registered EEG/EP certification to perform EEG and neurological testing on patients of all ages.

Details

• Hospital-based Neurology department serving in-patients and outpatients of all ages
• Performs standard EEGs, Auditory and Visual Evoked Response, and Median-Tibial Somato-sensory testing, individually or as a Full Battery
• 5x8 day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• R. EEG T and R. EP T certification required
• Minimum 1 year of previous patient care or healthcare experience required
• 3-5 years of EEG lab experience preferred
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Graduate of a two-year ABRET-recognized EEG and/or Evoked Potential Testing program preferred
• License required if applicable

• Educates patients and families on the testing process
• Performs clerical duties including scheduling, billing, and filing reports
• Participates in departmental CQI initiatives and ongoing education/training
• Assesses quality of testing procedures and equipment
• Accepts local candidates at a discounted rate
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
