Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position requiring BLS and NBSTSA certification and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Hospital-based general OR, ambulatory OR, and trauma surgical services setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM
• Call requirement of one night per week and one weekend per month
• Exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, plastics, neuro, orthopedic, general surgery, urology, ENT, thoracic, bariatrics, and robotics
• Da Vinci Xi Surgical System experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• BLS and NBSTSA certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• References required for consideration

• Support a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties in a high-acuity hospital environment
• Scrubs provided by facility
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside 75+ miles from facility
• No floating to hospital or affiliate facilities unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
• Prior facility employees must have a 2-year break in service before returning
