American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and nuclear cardiology expertise for an outpatient imaging center.

Details

• Outpatient adult imaging center setting
• Approximately 6-8 cases per tech per day
• Performs pulmonary studies including lung scan perfusion and ventilation/perfusion
• Performs myocardial studies including exercise/rest single and multiple studies and pharmacological stress
• Performs bone and renal studies including 3-phase, limited, and whole body bone scans and captopril renal flow
• Performs GI, thyroid, and liver studies including gastric emptying, I-123 uptake, uptake scan, and liver imaging
• Performs SPECT imaging for bone, thyroid, and cardiac studies
• Uses EPIC for charting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Must float within skillset without exception

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required with nuclear cardiology experience required
• BLS certification required
• Must hold both NMT and CT credentials: ARRT(N) or CNMT plus ARRT(CT), NMTCB(CT), or R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT), or alternatively R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT) which satisfies both requirements
• License required if applicable
• Pending NJ license accepted

Additional Information

• Must work or provide on-call coverage for winter holidays per facility policy, either 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Any color scrubs permitted
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
