American Traveler is hiring a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for a night shift acute care sleep lab position requiring RPSGT certification and 2+ years of sleep disorder experience.

Details

• Sleep Study unit in an acute care, Level 2 trauma facility
• 4 sleep beds with a 1:2 technologist-to-patient ratio
• 12-hour overnight shifts, 3 nights per week with weekends in rotation with staff
• Uses EPIC One Chart EMR, Natus Xltek sleep testing equipment, and Resmed Pap machines
• Performs sleep studies and administers CPAP, O2, and Bilevel treatments

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years related experience in the Sleep Disorders field preferred
• BLS certification required
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification via BRPT required
• ND Respiratory Care License required
• License required if applicable
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Orientation includes one week of day shift shadowing to learn One Chart-EPIC, sleep and EEG software, workflows, hospital layout, and policies/procedures
• Followed by one week of night orientation working alongside another sleep technologist with 2 patients before working independently
• Gray scrubs required
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Clinicians who previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date
