Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift MRI Technologist for a 14-week assignment at a teaching hospital, requiring ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure and Philips scanner experience.

Details

• Imaging department at a teaching hospital
• Night shift schedule with a mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts, with some rotation to evenings
• Shift hours are 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 40 hours per week
• 1-2 weekends per month required
• No call requirements
• Must be flexible with scheduling and no block schedules permitted
• Must work 2 of the 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Philips MRI equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• Prior travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Bi-weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
• First-time travelers may be considered given prior travel experience is only preferred, not required
• Accepts local candidates
• Travel, radius, and local pay tiers are based on direct-line mileage from the facility
