Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in an acute care hospital setting, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the CT Scan department, ground floor
• 3 CT scanners: Siemens Drive, Siemens Force, and Canon Prime SP
• Performs CT scans of all body parts, pediatric imaging, cardiac scans, and procedures such as biopsies, drains, and ablations
• Average caseload of 3-40 scans per 10-hour shift
• Uses EPIC EMR; McKesson PACS experience preferred but not required
• 10 or 12-hour night shifts, assigned schedule with no blocked requests
• Initial schedule is Mon-Thurs 1900-0500, transitioning to Fri-Sun 1800-0730 for the remainder of the contract
• Weekend shifts required as scheduled
• On-call available if agreed upon in advance
• Works only at the main campus with no floating to other locations
• Lead tech and supervisor present during weekday daytime hours
• In-house radiologist support available

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required; Canon experience not required
• Must be able to start IVs
• Strong patient care and procedural skills required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience preferred but not required
• Blue scrubs provided
• Holiday coverage required as needed unless otherwise agreed
• Department includes a CNA as department assistant; RRAs are not used
• Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Returning employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before applying for a travel assignment
