American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a Level III Trauma Center requiring 2+ years of acute or surgical experience and strong fluoro/OR procedure skills.

Details

• Level III Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Magnet-designated, Primary Stroke Center facility with 636 beds
• Radiology department with 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow room, plus clinic with 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room
• Average caseload of 15-20 patients per tech per day
• Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural cases across all age ranges with minimal pediatrics
• 8-hour day shifts, 5x8s, start times between 0500-0800 with flex of 1-1.5 hours depending on staffing
• Schedule follows M-F with every other weekend rotation, plus one day off before and after weekend work
• One call shift per week, rotating among 1st (0630-1400), 2nd (1400-2230), and 3rd (2230-0630) call
• One holiday required per 13-week contract
• No floating required outside of unit, though start times may flex based on need
• Uses Epic EMR, McKesson PACS, GE/Fuji/Del Medical X-ray equipment, and GE 9900/Elite and Medtronic O-arm C-arms

Requirements

• ARRT certification and BLS required
• WI state license required, if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical radiology experience required
• Minimum 12 months of core experience in the specialty area with most recent experience within the last year
• Strong surgical/procedure skills including general radiology and portables
• Fluoro experience with ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
• OR experience including ortho, general, and spine cases; comfort with O-arm preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidate's middle name/initial, DOB, and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
