Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 3-5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience for a mammography/breast imaging unit requiring stereotactic and prone table biopsy experience.

Details

• Mammography/Breast Imaging unit performing screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, and mammography guided procedures
• 8-hour day shift, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, 40 hours/week
• Unit equipped with 5 machines including Hologic Selenia Dimensions systems, Hologic 3Dimensions system, and Hologic Affirm system
• Breast ultrasound equipment includes Philips iU22 and GE Pristina
• Uses McKesson PACS image archive storage system and Epic EMR

Requirements

• ARRT and MA mammography certification required
• ARRT or ARDMS breast ultrasound or breast sonography certification required
• BLS-AHA certification required
• MA license required if applicable
• 3-5 years of diagnostic breast experience at an imaging center required
• 1 year of experience using McKesson PACS system required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy strongly preferred
• Must have demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, and mammography guided procedures
• Must be able to seek supervisory or managerial assistance as appropriate
• Local candidates not accepted
• Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility
• Previous employees must have a 6+ month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed
