Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT advanced MR certification and Philips MRI experience for a 12-hour night shift assignment at a teaching hospital.

Details

• Imaging unit at a teaching hospital
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week over a 24-week assignment
• Schedule spans Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling
• 1-2 weekends per month required, minimum of every other weekend
• No call required, but must be flexible to meet unit and patient care needs

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT or ARMRIT advanced MR licensure required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• Prior teaching hospital experience required
• Philips MRI equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions held on Mondays
• Any employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Complete work history details including bed count, EMR system, and facility type are required for consideration
• Public transportation is not accessible near the facility, so a reliable personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
