American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience to perform inpatient and outpatient imaging on advanced MRI systems, including scanning patients with implanted devices.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department
• Shifts include Saturday/Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm and Tuesday/Wednesday 3:00pm-11:00pm (40 hours total)
• Equipment includes GE 1.5 Signa EchoSpeed, GE 1.5 Signa Voyager, GE 3T Signa Excite, and Hitachi (Fuji) Oasis Open Air
• Performs both inpatient and outpatient scans
• Includes scanning of implanted devices such as non-conditional pacemakers
• Involves care of pediatric and sedated patients
• May require transporting patients after hours

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must be comfortable working with pediatric and sedated patient populations
• Ability to transport patients as needed

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Former staff must be approved by the facility before returning in a travel role
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to consideration
• Onboarding includes completion of core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation includes onsite completion of required modules
