American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT(R) or NMTCB plus ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Level I Trauma and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma teaching hospital with Chest Pain and Stroke Center designations
• MRI department serving 40-45 patients per day
• Adult and pediatric patients from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settings across the full spectrum of radiology exams
• Uses Siemens 1.5T magnets and EPIC EMR
• 12-hour night shifts, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 1900-0730, 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract with consistent shift and days as agreed
• No floating required
• No rotation between weekdays and weekends

Requirements

• ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification required
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• State licensure not required for this position, but active license required if applicable
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills with ability to work in a fast-paced, high acuity environment
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, helpful attitude

• 5-day departmental orientation, flexible based on traveler needs
• Call responsibilities shared fairly among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff

• RTO subject to manager approval
