American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of trauma CT experience including stroke protocol imaging for a day shift assignment.

Details

• CT Tech unit within a hospital setting
• Performs routine and specialized CT procedures for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease
• Serves adult and pediatric patients in acute care, outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department settings
• Experience with CT procedures on trauma patients including stroke protocol (CTA Head and Perfusion studies)
• Performs studies including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, chest, cardiac, and vascular imaging
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment along with PACS system
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements, with voluntary call-back opportunities available

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• Current BLS certification
• CA CRT license and ARRT (CT) certification required - license required if applicable
• CA Fluoroscopy Certification required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and venipuncture

• Accepts local candidates at the local rate
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
• Returning employees must have a separation period of 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday approved per contract
